The primary goal of this event is to engage students from a variety of backgrounds to participate in a competitive data science programming challenge. This event should encourage students to support each other in their programming projects, and to encourage entrepreneurship among students. Students will research a topic they are passionate about, and that they may not have had an opportunity to research through their coursework. Students will utilize the tools of data science and analytics to create a meaningful and actionable analysis of this data.
